Regeneration Strategy for Coalville

North West Leicestershire District Council commissioned the Prince's Foundation for the Built Environment (PFBE) to produce a Regeneration Strategy for Coalville early in 2009.

Following a community consultation exercise in April 2009, the PFBE led an Enquiry by Design masterplanning workshop in June 2009, which brought together a wide variety of statutory groups, stakeholders and consultants to assist the PFBE's design team to develop a long-term vision for the redevelopment of Coalville Town Centre. The presentation given at the conclusion of the workshop is available on the Prince's Foundation website.

Public consultation was undertaken during December 2009 and January/February 2010, and comments were reported to the Council's Cabinet in February and March. The final version of the Strategy has now been completed and can be downloaded using the link below. Please note, this file is quite large and may take a few minutes to download.
